While Emerald Ridge is an extraordinary venue, it wasn’t the venue that won us over. The owners, Janice & Paul, were the reason we decided we wanted to have our wedding there. Janice was our first point of contact and couldn’t have been more communicative, authentic, personable, and accommodating. They allowed us to take our engagement photos there after touring the property. Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband and I got married at Timber Hall at the end of June and had a wonderful experience! Cheri was communicative, helpful, and very reassuring when it comes to the planning process. She was incredible helpful by answering questions and giving suggestions for vendors along the way! The venue is absolutely beautiful and has a dreamy outdoor space for the couple's first dance and parent dances. The ceremony was so memorable with the long walk-way and the unique ceremony site, our guests kept complimenting it all night! Our pictures turned out amazing with the mountain views in the background! We loved everything about Timber Hall and couldn't have asked for a better venue! We highly recommend this venue for someone who is looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding in the mountains!

Doug & his team were perfect for our wedding reception! They were open to all our special details and requests and worked to make everything perfect! The mountain backdrop, the barns beautiful decor, and food, just WOW! The menu accommodated vegan & gluten. Appitizers and main course were exceptional. Perfect space and staff! It was our dream come true from beginning to end.

Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. The elegant castle was originally built as a private home. The elegance of the 1920s luminesces from original wrought iron chandeliers and alabaster sconces, casting graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceilings of the Great Room to the original hardwood floors, cherry walls, and grand Appalachian stone fireplaces. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. The Great Room seats 110 people for dinner, or up to 150 with cocktail seating, with space for dance floor and DJ or band. Homewood is fully handicap-accessible. The beautiful and lush surrounding grounds provide additional outdoor space, including our garden ceremony site.

Homewood did an INCREDIBLE job of delivering our dream wedding, at the beginning of this April. Our top criteria when looking for our venue, and how they worked out, were the following: 1) low-ish budget- we wanted a venue that didn't have a lot of requirements in terms of vendors. We didn't want to pay extra for chairs, tables, all the fine print- and Homewood does a great job with this. Almost everything for the venue itself, from setup to tear down, was included in the price. Homewood has three required vendors- a caterer, coordinator/planner, and bar service. These are three components of a wedding that arguably you cannot go without so we were fine that these were required! And for the services we got the prices were absolutely reasonable. From there, there is so much flexibility on what you can do. We wanted a great photographer so spent a little more on that, but didn't care so much about the cake so went with a Publix bakery cake which our coordinators still made beautiful. There is no judgement and whatever your choices are, Homewood's planners, Carolina Love Events, will do an INCREDIBLE job of making your dream wedding come to life. I cannot put into words how amazing they are! 2) mountain views and scenery- you can see just from pictures that Homewood checks that box :) our previews and final shots we've gotten back so far are incredible. We are dedicating an entire wall of our house just to wedding photos! 3) LGBTQ friendly- we are a wlw couple and wanted a place that was accepting. Homewood was proud to welcome us and we did not feel one ounce of judgement, just pure acceptance and love! We truly had the best wedding and I still pinch myself that it really happened. Homewood will always have a special place in our hearts!

I cannot recommend Highland Brewing enough! Every space is so gorgeous and customizable. We used all the spaces available and we loved being able to move our guests from space to space throughout the night . The rooftop has gorgeous mountain views and the barrel room was a dream for me with plants hanging from the ceiling! The staff was SO welcoming from the beginning and made the experience so easy. We felt so at ease working with them. Great communication, super helpful and willing to work with our ideas and make them happen! Thank you Highland for going above and beyond to make our day so magical!! We can’t wait to come back and visit!

4 Points Farm has everything you need for a wedding. Its easy to locate, has plenty of parking, scenic views, and a spacious ceremony and reception space. It also comes equipped with a bridal suite, decor, chairs and tables, and a catering kitchen among other things. Heather, the owner, is such a delight to deal with. My brides always rave about how easy interacting with her is. This venue shoots beautifully, especially near the creek that runs right along the property! We can't say enough about what a treat this barn is, and always look forward to heading back out!

Triple J Farm is a beautiful setting for all events. We have an indoor barn or outdoor wedding facility by the creek with benches. The barn has heat or can be cooled with indoor ceiling fans and AC units in dressing rooms. Next to the barn is an outdoor saloon/drink station with a large propane events grill as well as a pizza oven. Chairs, tables, linens, dishware, utensils, glasses, serving dishes are included in the price. There is a kitchen with 3 ovens, stove top, microwave, 3 refrigerators for use during your event. There are separate bride and groom dressing rooms as well as 2 bathrooms. The beautiful property has views of Roan Mountain and backs up to the state park. Bordered by a creek, a pond with a waterfall, large outdoor fire pit area with family fun area. There is a large parking area and lots of outdoor space.
