Avon Gardens has been a part of love stories for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in offering guests to the gardens a unique experience unlike any other. The gardens themselves have been on multiple national garden tours and featured in Midwest Living magazine. The sun gardens offer spots bursting with glorious color throughout the season, and the ravine and waterfall gardens offer serene, shady sites, all perfect settings for many photographic opportunities. Because of the changing seasons of the gardens and the customizations of the ceremony and reception areas, no two weddings are ever alike.

They say your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. So when our oldest daughter told us she was engaged it was all about making it a day they would remember. The challenge started...finding a venue that would accent this memorable day. It came to a great surprise to us that there was a lack of beautiful outdoor venues. The Gala Barn is a nostalgic 1800's barn set on rustic farm property in Fountain County, Indiana, a charming setting for couples to share their wedding day and celebration with family and friends. The Gala Barn schedules one wedding a weekend, with our wedding parties able to use the Gala Barn Friday morning to Sunday morning to prepare for the ceremony and reception as they would like. The Gala Barn allows couples to use the vendors they would like and provides amenities at no additional cost. This makes 416 Wabash the perfect space for your next wedding, wedding reception, corporate, social, non-profit, or live music event. Three separate bar areas including a 750 sq. ft. mezzanine for VIP treatment are available with a building capacity of 588. An all-glass DJ booth perched high above allows for maximum dance space on our custom lighted floor. We are a unique venue that you rent for the entire weekend. You check in on Friday morning and don't check out until Sunday morning.
