Grab a sandwich at the Katama General Store before heading over for the afternoon State Beach (Edgartown/Oak Bluffs): On the Nantucket Sound, State Beach is calmer and great for swimming. Parking available along the beach, or you can take the bus (route #13) Fuller Street Beach (Edgartown): Walkable from downtown Edgartown, Fuller Street beach is the calmest option, with very shallow water. Walk all the way down to the end to see the Edgartown Lighthouse
