Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The venue will open to guests at 5:30. Please note that the ceremony will start at 6pm on the dot, so time your arrival accordingly! If you arrive during the ceremony, there will be indoor space for you to wait, but we ask that you not enter the ceremony space once we've kicked off (we'll be quick, don't worry!).

I'm driving—where can I park?

Answer

Parking: 525 Church St., Evanston, IL 60201 An indoor parking garage is located directly across the street from The Woman's Club of Evanston. The Garage entrance is located at 525 Church St. (NE corner of Church St. & Chicago Ave.) and is indicated by a large Public Self-Park sign. The fee is about $1 per hour payable when exiting. Parking is free on Sundays.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Our venue is just around the corner from our suggested hotel, and a 5 minute walk from the Davis purple line stop! Please reach out to us directly if travel or accessibility is a concern, and we're happy to accommodate.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, get into your dancing outfit and get ready to celebrate!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We’ve booked a couple babysitters to make that a reality. Please contact us directly to coordinate.

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then please do! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our RSVPs will offer a choice of entrée for our wedding reception! This will include a vegetarian option. If you have additional dietary restrictions or questions about the food options, please reach out to us directly.
