Through March-November, millions of bats are here under this bridge! Wait until sunset to go visit and see them all fly out! It may sound weird, but that's Austin for ya!
Take a scenic walk to view of the Colorado river as well as downtown Austin (no electric scooters on the trail!). This is also not far from our apartment, so we often use this trail to walk the dogs, or Dan uses it for runs.
An adorable shop in the Congress strip; a great place to find a souvenir for home! Make sure you give yourself time to walk Congress and visit the other shops on this strip.
Delicious Tacos & Queso!
One of our favorite breweries in Austin! They also make great paninis and pretzels. Tell them you're in for Angie and Dan's wedding!
Unbelievable view of Lake Travis and Hill Country, this brewery also has some great bites to eat! Also try the Mexican restarant next door (TIP: arrive about an hour before sunset to get a breathtaking view)
The wedding venue, which also has a winery next store, 5 Sol (not open during the wedding, sorry).
A great place to relax with a few friends and take in the park of the city. Bring a few beverages and see dogs around off-leash! (NOTE: do not drive here on the weekends unless you are patient about parking! Parking can take a long time!)
24 hour coffee and alcoholic beverage place! They also have great food trucks with vegan & vegetarian options. If you're a foodie, definitely recommend checking it out!
If you need to kill time before heading back to the airport, check out this brewery just across the highway! They have a disc golf course and are dog friendly on the patio/grassy areas. We often take people here when they first arrive to Austin
