Jaclyn Zinn

Maid of Honor

Jaclyn is Kaitlyn's twin sister (three minutes younger) and best friend. She has been a part of literally every experience Kaitlyn has been through, and has been her lifelong confidante. Although twins are notorious for being jealous of significant others, Jaclyn and Alex have never been that way. There are too many notable memories to list here, but as a member of "The Three Best Friends", it is safe to say that Jaclyn will be a part of Kaitlyn and Alex's lives forever.

Nick Hammons

Best Man

Nick is Alex's older brother by three years and only sibling. Nick often picked on Alex growing up and Alex couldn't defend himself because Nick was always bigger. Finally, in Alex's high school years, Alex became bigger and Nick was no longer able to pick on him. From then on, Alex and Nick became close and Alex began looking up to his older brother. Some of Alex's best memories with Nick involve their family trips fishing and relaxing in Nimpo Lake, British Columbia. Alex was the best man in Nick's wedding in 2017.

Rachel Freytag

Bridesmaid

Rachel is one of Kaitlyn's Xavier roommates (along with Jillian and Mia.) She lived with Kaitlyn for several years post-college and has been a thoughtful confidant through some of her toughest times. Some memorable moments they have spent together include going to Minster, playing recreational softball, (which Rachel taught Kaitlyn how to play,) and running a marathon together! Kaitlyn was a bridesmaid in Rachel's wedding in 2018.

Daniel Hille

Groomsman

Daniel is one of Alex's longest and closest friends. Daniel and Alex first met playing tee-ball (along with Alex Yarawsky and Ethan Schrage) and got to know each other better during middle and high school. Daniel was also one of Alex's roommates at NKU (along with Alex Yarawsky and Ethan Schrage) and also studied Business Entrepreneurship. After college, Daniel and Alex were roommates again at Alex's house in Loveland. Some of Alex's best memories with Daniel are staying up all night and playing video games.

Amy Frank

Bridesmaid

Amy worked with Kaitlyn at her first job out of college, Haney Inc. They have always said that their freindship is meant to be because their life events (both good and bad) seemingly mirror each other. Some memorable moments they have spent together are going to country concerts, spending time with their dogs, (which they got around the same time,) doing anything artistic, and kayaking! Kaitlyn was a bridesmaid in Amy's wedding in 2018.

Ethan Schrage

Groomsman

Ethan is one of Alex's longest and closest friends. Ethan and Alex first met playing tee-ball (along with Alex Yarawsky and Daniel Hille) and got to know each other better during middle and high school. Ethan was also one of Alex's roommates at NKU (along with Alex Yarawsky and Daniel Hille). Ethan and Alex started a paintball team together (along with Alex Yarawsky) and had many memories traveling the country and playing tournaments. Alex was the best man in Ethan's wedding in 2014.

Jillian Hensley

Bridesmaid

Jillian is one of Kaitlyn's Xavier roommates (along with Rachel and Mia.) She has often traveled with Kaitlyn to various bachelorette and birthday parties, and is always ready to have fun. Some memorable moments they have shared are the Xavier pig roast, JoDee Messina private concert, and trips to Chicago for St. Patrick's day!

Alex Yarawsky

Alex is one of Alex's longest and closest friends. Alex and Alex first met playing tee-ball (along with Daniel Hille and Ethan Schrage) and got to know each other better during middle and high school. Alex was also one of Alex's roommates at NKU (along with Daniel Hille and Ethan Schrage). Alex played paintball on Alex's first paintball team (along with Ethan Schrage). Some of the best memories Alex has with Alex are hiking at Red River Gorge. Alex was a groomsman in Alex's wedding in 2015.

Mia Carosi

Bridesmaid

Mia is one of Kaitlyn's Xavier roommates (along with Jillian and Rachel.) Even though they don't see each other as often as they would like (Mia lives in Washington DC,) they are always able to pick up right where they left off. Some memorable moments they have spent together the pirate ship excursion in Baltimore, doing D1 challenges, and going to the Kentucky Derby!

Anthony Gerken

Groomsman

Anthony (a.k.a Gerk) and Alex first met playing paintball on Fuse (with Brian Warner and Sam Lotz). Gerk and Alex connected quickly and became close due to similar personalities. Gerk and Alex enjoy picking on each other and giving each other a hard time. Some of Alex's best memories of Gerk are the nights spent sharing a hotel room and buying matching shirts at every paintball tournament they play together. Alex was a groomsman in Gerk's wedding in 2015.

Kara Matthews

Bridesmaid

Kara is one of Kaitlyn's Xavier tennis teammates (along with Christie.) Kara hosted Kaitlyn as a recruit and is one of the reasons she attended Xavier! Some memorable moments they have spent together are hiking in Red Rock Canyon, doing handstands, being lifting partners, and going to nightclubs in Las Vegas! Kaitlyn was a bridesmaid in Kara's wedding in 2012.

Brian Warner

Groomsman

Brian (a.k.a Warner) and Alex first met in 2010 when Warner's paintball team, Fuse, needed an extra player for a national tournament. At the time, Alex was not on a team, so he agreed. The tournament didn't go so well, but Warner and the rest of Fuse decided they wanted to keep Alex on full time. The team ended up winning the World Cup (the biggest paintball tournament in the world) that year defeating a team from Ukraine (USA USA USA!). Outside of the net (off the paintball field), Warner and Alex have become close. They both enjoy rock climbing (with Sammy as well) and having double dates with Kaitlyn and Warner's wife, Janaki.

Christie Wootton

Bridesmaid

Christie is one of Kaitlyn's Xavier tennis teammates (along with Kara.) She moved to NYC right after college and lived there at the same time Kaitlyn did. Some memorable moments they have spent together are going to OU for Halloween, Santacon in NYC, and riding bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge. Kaitlyn was a bridesmaid in Christie's wedding in 2016.

Sam Lotz

Groomsman

Sam (a.k.a Sammy) and Alex first met playing paintball together on Fuse (with Brian Warner and Anthony Gerken). Sammy and Alex hung out often when Sammy still lived in Cincinnati. They often went rock climbing together and one year spent the whole summer climbing 3-5 times per week. Sammy and Alex still enjoy rock climbing and grabbing a beer from MadTree whenever Sammy comes home from his graduate studies at The Ohio State University.

Sammie Zinn

Bridesmaid

Sammie is Kaitlyn's oldest female cousin, and the closest in age other than Jaclyn. They have spent countless holidays, vacations and other family events together throughout the years. Some memorable moments they have spent together are ziplining in Belize, Disney world on New Years Eve, and of course, visiting the family lake house in Tennessee. This will be Sammie's first wedding as a bridesmaid, and watch out, she is famous for "Icing" Kaitlyn and Alex.

Zach Chapman

Groomsman

Zach is Kaitlyn's cousin but feels more like a little brother. He is a fellow collegiate athlete, Xavier fan, and sports lover! Alex and Zach became close when spending numerous family occasions together, and when Zach subbed on their rec softball team over the past two years. Zach is famous for giving Alex a hard time about the Seattle Seahawks, Hamm's beer and anything relating to fantasy football.

Kaylee Chapman

Junior Bridesmaid

Kaylee is one of Kaitlyn's cousins. Although much younger, she has always been supportive and close with Kaitlyn, especially during the hard times she has endured. They have spent countless family holidays, vacations, and other events together. Some memorable moments they have shared are Parasailing in Destin, riding jet skis in Michigan, and going to country concerts. Kaitlyn was a flower girl in Kaylee's parents' wedding, but this will be Kaylee's first wedding as a junior bridesmaid!

Madison Coriell

Madison is one of Kaitlyn's cousins. Although much younger, she has always been supportive and close with Kaitlyn, and even lived in the same home for a brief period of time. They have spent countless family holidays, vacations, and other events together. Some memorable moments they have shared are going to Disney world, riding jet skis in Michigan, and jumping on the trampoline. Kaitlyn was a junior bridesmaid in Madison's parents' wedding, but this will be Madison's first wedding as a junior bridesmaid!

Bryson Zinn

Bryson is Kaitlyn's half brother. Although only six years old, Bryson has already carried out brotherly duties like making her laugh and playing tennis with her. Bryson is excited for Alex to be his "brudder" and has spent quite a bit of time with him as well. Some memorable moments they have shared are skiing at Perfect North, going to Kings Island, and playing monkey in the middle in Jamaica. This will be Bryson's first ever wedding!

Milly Heide

Milly is Alex's cousin Shena's first of two daughters. Milly and Alex do not get to see each other often because they live on opposite sides of the United States, but Alex and Kaitlyn both still adore Milly and don't think they could possibly find a cuter, or sweeter, flower girl.

Jim is Kaitlyn's stepdad and has had a huge impact on her life. He is a frequent tennis match and softball game spectator, as well as someone that Alex and Kaitlyn both confide in. When Alex first met Jim, he said he needed to wear a W.W.J.D bracelet (what would Jim do) because Jim is such a good role model of how to be a good man and husband. Fun memories with Jim include dying easter eggs, pumpkin carving, and fantasy football!
