Bride
I grew up in Phoenix but moved to Tucson for college when I was 18. I attended the University of Arizona (twice) for a Bachelor's in Nursing and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, and now am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I love dancing, dogs, coffee, and Motown music.
Groom
I spent the majority of my life in Tucson and as a result developed a strong appreciation for the Sonoran desert. I currently work for GEICO and have spent 10+ years with the company in various roles (sales agent, compliance analyst, fraud supervisor, and currently the top power sports sales supervisor in the country!). In addition to work I enjoy making art, exploring new breweries/restaurants, Chicago sports teams, taking on projects around the house, and riling up our dog at inconvenient times for Sarah.
First Lady
Elizabeth and I were randomly assigned to be college roommates at the University of Arizona back in 2004 and she’s been my best friend ever since. Liz is a Professional Civil Engineer, dirt bike rider, mother, wife, runner, and amazing coconut cream pie maker.
Bridesmaid
Stevie and I worked in the ICU at Banner Health together. Sharing a pod with her was a guaranteed good shift! I’ve pretty much forgiven her for the time she “thumbs downed” ABC by the Jackson 5 on my Pandora station.
Bridesmaid
Stevie and I worked together at Banner Health. She’s a great hype-woman, a great friend, and a woman of great Faith. She’s a natural motivator and her positivity resonates. I once talked her into buying a time-share in Cabo…
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth and I grew up together although I’m just a tiny bit older. We share a common godmother and in Serbian culture that makes you family. Elizabeth is a marriage and family therapist and dog mom, and I actually caught the bouquet at her wedding in 2017.
Bridesmaid
Karen is Terry’s sister. We kind of bonded over our love of Dolly Parton and how great it is that she has a theme park, which we are definitely planning to visit in the next few years. Karen has been very welcoming to me since we first met and I'm so honored to now call her my sister.
Best Man
I met Tyrone through his brother back in 2007. A group of us attended a Halloween party together, Tyrone was “dressed up” as a nerd and I was dressed as the jack in the box mascot (those of you in the Midwest or on the east coast may need to look that one up). We became close friends and roommates immediately after. Tyrone is the one person who I could always count on to be up for a spontaneous trip. We have had numerous adventures across the country and countless laughs (usually at each other’s expense). Tyrone currently lives In San Jose with his girlfriend Carli and works in the film industry as a writer/director/producer.
Groomsman
Mark and I met in high school while working retail. Our similar sense of humor and taste in music helped us become good friends despite his poor taste in sports teams. Mark has been a great friend throughout the years and recently bought a house with his wife!
Groomsman
Lauren and I went to the same middle/high school and ran track together (I’d love to talk about how I beat him in every event… but that would be a lie). Lauren is one of the most reliable people I know. Whether it’s lending a hand to help me move, or picking me up from the hospital 😑, he’s one of the nicest people you will ever meet!
Groomsman
Troy and I use to spend weekends in the winter snowboarding up in Flagstaff or Greer and he’s probably seen me take more impressive falls than anyone else I know! He also lived a few blocks away from me during the downtown Tucson years and was always down to check out new breweries/restaurants or go to a hockey game. Troy has had a busy few years, on top of DIY projects for his new house, he also got engaged!
Groomsman
Mitch is Sarah’s brother. He currently lives in Florida with his wife Lindsey and their pup Eli. He recently landed his dream job in the space division at Boeing. I was pretty impressed with his ability to deplete Café A La C’Art’s entire Dr. Pepper supply when we first met at Sarah’s graduation dinner. Mitch has really gone out of his way to make me feel welcomed into the family and I’m looking forward to all of us spending more time together in the future.
