Karena and Ryan met at the Kenny Chesney concert at MetLife Stadium in 2018. They were tailgating in completely different parking lots, with different crowds but somehow ended up at a mutual friend's tailgate in the same section. Ryan happened to be with his dad who saw her looking and nudged Ryan to walk over and talk to her. They both were plenty of drinks in and somehow Karena managed to put her number in his phone correctly and his number in her phone as "CuTE guY aT ConCert". Karena just moved to Florida at the time for work, and Ryan still lived in New Jersey. They tried to do long distance but it ended up not working out. This was a blessing in disguise for both of them at the time because it gave them time to figure out life and mature. Two years later, they reconnected and had the same feelings - they were the right person at the wrong time. Then, a year and a half later after being back together - Ryan asked Karena to marry her in Punta Cana during a romantic dinner on the beach. They have a beautiful life together, the best dogs Meelo and Wick, and a home full of memories with many more to come!
