Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
The majority of the weekend is casual, as we are hanging out, playing yard games, etc. For the Ceremony and Reception, we ask that you aim for a Semi-Formal/Festive attire. You know we love color! If you are choosing to wear heels, we recommend a wedge or chunky heel, as there is a variety of terrain across the property.

How far is the airport/Where should we fly in to?
Answer
River Mountain is equidistant (about two and a half hours) from DC, Baltimore, and Harrisburg, PA. Choose whichever airport works best for you! If you are flying in, we recommend renting a car for the weekend. There will not be a shuttle from any airport, and there are not Ubers/Lyfts in the area.

What about the weather?

We are keeping our fingers crossed for a mild Fall (!) and are aiming for an outdoor ceremony- please keep that in mind for your comfort level. Aside from the ceremony space, all buildings on the resort are temperature controlled and there will be heaters present, if necessary, for any outdoor events.

Are kids invited/do I have a plus one?
Answer
All invitations will be addressed to those invited, and when you RSVP, each person will have their own submission. If you were given a +1, it will be listed on the RSVP form. Due to venue limitations and the nature of the venue, we are not inviting children. We hope this gives you a weekend to let loose!

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras out). We want everyone to be present while we say "I do". We have an incredible photographer and will share her photos as soon as we receive them! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like- we even encourage it!
