This market is one of the nation's oldest and largest public markets. There are literally so many stalls to choose from, whether you want to try the BEST soft pretzel we have found so far (Miller's Twist), try a roast pork sandwich at DiNic's, or pick up something sweet at the Amish bakery, there is something for everyone.
Kristen here. Chris/the other locals are probably appalled that I would suggest this, but to me I think it's part of the experience! Pat's and Geno's are the two most popular cheesesteak places, right across the street from each other. It's a whole thing. (but fine. If you don't want the touristy place, Dalessandro's is a small shack in Northwest Philly that has the best cheesesteaks we've found so far)
*cue Rocky music* These are where the famous Rocky steps are, along with a ~stunning~ art museum. After climbing all of the steps, make sure to look out at one of Philly's prettiest views!
This is Center City proper. See the buildings, the stores, and the sights all around downtown!
When I tell you Chinatown has some of the best food I've ever experienced...walk around and pop in some places if you want some delicious food!
Here's a touristy spot--the Liberty Bell is a little underwhelming in size but it makes up for it in historical facts! This is in "Old City" so if you love history this is the spot for you.
See where it all happened!! Our first date spot and the spot Chris proposed! Great spot for brunch.
Delicious coffee. Cute shop! Some would say it's a Philly staple.
