Blue Spring State Park
The largest spring on the St. Johns River, Blue Spring, is a designated Manatee Refuge and the winter home (November – March) to a growing population of West Indian Manatees. There is some nice scenery and walkways to explore. You can check on their website if there are any manatee sighting as February is prime manatee season!

Downtown DeLand is an award winning Florida Main Street community. You will find many restaurants, shops and bars located here.

Additionally, it is home to many antique shops, historic buildings, and residences. The German restaurant, Hollerbachs, is one of our favorites! (highly recommend the Alpiner Schnitzel).
