FAQs

The Wedding Website of Michelle Yesersky and James Malloy
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal -- Suits, sport jackets, dresses, slacks; please no jeans, baseball hats or mens sandals. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside and the reception will be inside so dress accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope that this advanced notice gives you time to make arrangements and allow you a much deserved night off to celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a Guest?

Answer

We're thrilled that you're considering sharing our special day with us! Please note that we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP. We appreciate you understanding and please reach out to James or Michelle if you have questions.

Question

Is there transportation to the wedding?

Answer

No, there is not. The ceremony and reception are held at the same location to make it easy for everyone! Ubers/Lyfts are not always easily available in Lake Helen, so try to schedule it beforehand or consider renting a car for the weekend. **Please note that the entrance to the wedding venue is an unpaved/gravel road

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

For those that are not familiar with Orlando, it is massive. While the wedding is technically take place in the Orlando area, it is still about 45 mins to an hour from Disney and/or Universal. If you plan on doing other touristy activities while you are here we recommend renting a car, however Uber/Lyft are very commonly used.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please reference the Registry tab for our registries on Zola and Macy's!

Question

We want to extend our trip, can we stay at the room block hotel longer?

Answer

Both of the top recommended hotels are available Thursday-Monday of the wedding weekend. If you plan on extending your trip to go to the theme parks, we HIGHLY recommend finding a different hotel closer to the parks as the wedding venue is about 45mins - 1hour from the main theme park areas. Both Disney and Universal have hotels on their property that offer great benefits (early park access, transportation to the parks, and jump the line passes). If you need any recommendations on hotels, restaurants, things to do for an extended stay, feel free to reach out to Michelle and James!
