Getting to Idaho Springs

For those flying into Denver Int'l Airport (DIA), we suggest renting a car as Idaho Springs is 55 miles from DIA. Commercial shuttle options (i.e. Bustang or Pegasus) are available from downtown Denver. A car will be useful to get around to the different weekend events and activities in the area.

Wedding day transportation

August 12, 2022 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Shuttles will be provided to and from the wedding venue. We have two pickup points: (1) Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway and (2) outside The Vintage Moose in the town of Idaho Springs (there is a large parking lot immediately next to the bar you can utilize). If you are not staying at the Comfort Suites, plan to drive and park in Idaho Springs, and take the shuttle from Idaho Springs. Shuttles will leave Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway at 3:00 pm and will only make one trip to the venue (AKA you must be ready on time!). There will be 3 shuttles, each will need to be fairly full to ensure everyone has a seat. Thanks for sharing! Shuttles will begin leaving Idaho Springs outside The Vintage Moose at 3:00 pm and will make two (possibly three) trips to the venue; plan to take the 3:00 shuttle or second and final shuttle at approx. 3:30 pm. Return shuttles will begin at 8:30 pm to both pickup points, with shuttles at 8:30 & 10:00 pm. If you choose to drive to the venue, PLEASE READ the detailed directions here (https://www.northstargatherings.com/venue) and be sure to download the directions prior to leaving town as you will lose cell service on the drive up to NSG.

Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway

This is where we have reserved a block of rooms and will be a shuttle pick up/drop off location. Please call (303) 526-2000 and ask for Reservations to reserve your room, you will need to mention the Wissmann-Fuhrmeister wedding. The block is available from Thursday night (8/11) through Saturday night with a Sunday (8/14) departure.

Georgetown to Idaho Springs Marathon 8/13

FYI - there is a half marathon on Saturday, August 13 that ends in Idaho Springs. Expect Main Street to be a busy place in the morning. Please be aware that metered parking has been implemented on Main Street. More parking information can be found here: https://www.parkidahosprings.com/
