Saugerties Lighthouse
We went here the day we got engaged. It was picturesque. There is a bit of a walk to get out there and it's a a sandy one, so wear appropriate shoes!
Kaaterskill Falls
We went here on Jacob's 30th birthday trip in 2021. Gorgeous waterfall, one of the tallest in the state of NY, and a lovely hike is an outdoors-lover must! Tannersville is pretty cute, too! Oh, and MAKE SURE you stop for food at Circle W (and pretty please bring us a sandwich back).
Pop Vintage Antiques
Ok- we are antiquing junkies. There are truly too many *great* stores in the Hudson Valley to hit them all in a day or two. There are a couple in Saugerties, but there are even more in Kingston, Woodstock, and Newburgh has our favorite: Vintage Emporium and Vintage Emporium Warehouse. If you're driving up from the city, add a few of these as stops along the way.

Wondering where to get your iced coffee and/or the PERFECT sandwich? Go here. We literally have been there every single day we have been in Saugerties. NEVER lets us down. 10/10.
Red Onion
We went here the night we got engaged and it was DELICIOUS. Make a reservation in advance!
Woodstock
Spend the afternoon in this cute little town and peruse a ton of great stores and eat some great food at Pearl Moon, Bread Alone, or Oriole 9. Check out the Saturday and Sunday flea market!
Kingston
Visit Kingston because it's adorable and a perfect spot to spend a half day. Antique and vintage stores, cute cafes, and Sweet Maresa's is SO GOOD. The macarons are a must.
