Yes. There is a large dirt lot at the end of the main road in Port Costa (Canyon Lake Drive). If you drive into the Bay, you've gone too far. :) Please drive carefully on your way in and out of town. The roads are narrow, dark, and windy.
Why not now? In all seriousness, we need to finalize numbers with the venue by Sunday, April 2nd 2023.
We love your kids, but we ask that parents enjoy a night off for the ceremony and reception. If this is a hardship for your family, please let us know so we can help find a solution.
Yes. We are hosting a shuttle that will run from the DoubleTree Berkeley Marina to Bull Valley Roadhouse and back at the end of the evening. Please let us know when you RSVP if you would like to take the shuttle so we can ensure everyone has a seat.
You can probably get a rideshare to Port Costa. As for back...we wouldn't bet on it. Port Costa is a little town tucked down a couple windy roads. There might be drivers who would accept the ride, but there would likely be a significant wait.
In general, we want guests to wear something that feels both special and comfortable, and if you're the type of person who expresses individuality with your clothing, we love and encourage that. Everyone else: you'll fit right in wearing cocktail attire to the ceremony on Sunday. For Saturday's welcome event, you'll fit in wearing jeans, a sweater, or other casual attire. Most importantly, wear layers! They're a Bay-Area cliché for a reason, and both our venues are outdoors.
You can let us know when you RSVP, or you can email Rosemary at rosemarymcg [at] gmail.com.
Yes! Feel free to save that for future holiday cards, etc. (Rosemary prominently displays holiday cards during the season. This past year, she even put up one intended for a previous resident.)
