FAQs

We will try to answer some questions here about our event and how you can prepare for the day! Please feel free to reach out to us if you have other questions not addressed here.
Question

What About Covid-19?

Answer

It is a priority for us to make our celebration as safe as possible for our guests and their families. Due to the ongoing and evolving nature of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we expect to continue to update our guidelines around Covid safety as we get closer to the event. At this time, we ask that guests who RSVP "YES" to attending our wedding be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or make a plan to be fully vaccinated before September 10, 2022. Our current plan includes an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Dinner and dancing will be held indoors in the barn, a spacious room with lofted ceilings and multiple large sliding doors which will be left open to allow the best possible ventilation (weather permitting). Bring your most festive mask, especially if we need to move indoors in case of inclement weather!

Question

Do I have to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend?

Answer

Yes. Please see the above fuller description regarding our expectations around Covid-safety at our celebration. If you are not planning to or are unable to be fully vaccinated before September 10, 2022, we know you will be supporting our union from afar! Thank you for declining this invitation for the safety of your own family and our other guests! Following the guidance of the CDC, "fully vaccinated" means that a person has "received all recommended doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible".

Question

How is Wi-Fi and Cell Service at the venue?

Answer

Not great! We are anticipating a fairly unplugged affair. There is some Wi-fi connectivity in the adjacent farmhouse, but this will only be available to guests in an emergency. Cell service is sketchy at best in the surrounding area. PLEASE plan to download/write down/print out directions to and from your accommodations when arriving and throughout the weekend. You may not be able to access your phone GPS or preferred navigation app from the venue or while on the road (we're speaking from experience)! We hope you can think of it as a welcome retreat among friends, loved ones, and nature!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the capacity of our venue and our wedding budget, we aren't able to accommodate additional plus-ones. We addressed our Save-The-Dates and Invitations to all invited guests. Our priority is to be surrounded by those we know and love and who have been a part of our love story for the past 10 years!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but our ceremony and reception will be adults-only events! They're welcome to join for the Farewell Brunch on Sunday.
