We're getting married!

We met at freshman orientation when we both moved to New York to attend NYU in 2009. (Specifically, in Studio G at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting on W. 27th Street.) We became really good friends pretty much immediately, and were sufficiently impressed by each other's First Day Of School Monologues. We took some late night walks to the Good Stuff diner on 14th Street and discovered that we could borrow each other's clothes if we needed them for costumes. In 2011, we realized we might have a little crush on each other and started dating. It took about 10 minutes for us to realize we were in love with each other. And we kept discovering that we were still in love with each other while we finished college, became adults, pursued careers as actors, grew into real New Yorkers, adopted our cat Hazel, and many more adventures over the years. On March 19th, 2021, we took a trip to Hudson, NY to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of our first date—a morning walk to get pastries and coffee. On March 20th—Will got up and picked up coffee and pastries and presented them to Katie, along with the engagement ring that had been passed down from his Mom's family! We joyfully agreed to get married! We've known for a while that we are committed to being partners in life and love together, and now we want to affirm and celebrate that commitment with the family and friends who are our community and support system—that means you!
