If you have some time in your day it is well worth the drive to visit Harpers Ferry. From historical to site seeing, and October will be the perfect time to go there! Top off the visit to the Brewery up on the hill (Harpers Ferry Brewing) and it would be the perfect afternoon!
Bears Den
If you are looking to get outdoorsy this 1.7-mile out-and-back trail near Berryville is the way to go. End the day with a stop at Bear Chase and it sounds like perfection!
