We have always had great luck with VRBO. Even if you stay just outside of downtown, over one of the bridges, you can still be within 10 minutes of anything downtown. Let us know if you have questions on location while researching.

Rental Car

Unless you want a car, there is no need to rent one as the airport is a quick 15 minute Uber ride and everywhere downtown and even just outside downtown Charleston is extremely close.

Accomodations

We will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Charleston Waterfront/Downtown. Keep in mind when booking, downtown Charleston is a whole 2 miles wide, so when looking at distance, you can stay outside of downtown for about 1/3 of the price. Mount Pleasant and West Ashley are maybe 5-15 minutes Uber away from the venue depending on location. I've found some good deals like the Best Western Charleston in West Ashley for $100/night and Mainstay Suites Mount Pleasant for $78/night (both 7 minutes away).
