Wedding Party.

Laura Wertheimer

Bride

Joey Tutone

Groom

Laura Aristovulos

Maid of Honor

Laura A and Laura W (A&W), have been best friends since second grade. They may have become friends because they share their name, but their friendship spans both time and distance. Laura and Laura have hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, hiked 100's of miles together (including 2, 50 mile hikes), shared every bit of Vegan food, gone on incredible road trips, raised a puppy named Eyck together, and lifted each other up through the good and bad times. Laura A is more than just a friend, she is more like a sister to Laura W.

Chris Gressett

Best Man

Joey and Chris met in Fifth grade. They were teammates on the basketball team, "the Bullets." The two all-stars led their team to a strong 1-15 record. During their sixth-grade year they were classmates, and their friendship grew. From sixth grade on they embarked on many adventures. Some may say they began conquering the world through sports and academics, but they would say their better stories involve creating a "Jackass" video, baking the world's largest cookie, exploding oatmeal, and shooting a flaming hot dog bun out of a potato gun. Their academic performance peaked as teammates in the senior year science fair. Joey and Chris won second place in the science fair. As they gave a heisman pose leaving the stage, they realized that it simply took a couple plants, some scissors, and 6 hours to complete a semester long science experiment. Their next step in life will be introducing Baby Gressett to uncle Joey next year!

Mike Potoczek

Flower Child

Joey and Mike have been best friends since middle school. In sixth grade Mike quickly grew close to Joey and Chris and the duo became a trio. The adventures almost came to a halt, when Mike decided to sell his moped, trade it in for a surfboard, and move to Florida. As the three friends went to college, Mike eventually found his calling, the Navy. Mike returned to Virginia just before Joey finished law school.  Mike, Joey and Chris continued their adventures, but now as “adults.” Football and basketball quickly became golfing and disc golf. Joey broke Mike's heart by taking a job in Washington DC. But that did not stop Mike from visiting, enjoying a National's baseball game, and enjoying IHOP at 2:30am.  Now that Joey lives in Las Vegas, they know no no distance is too great for their epic friendship.
