Even if you are not staying on the strip, we highly recommend you walk the strip and see what it has to offer. The strip features incredible dining experiences, the Bellagio fountains, a trip up to the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris, Gondola rides at the Venetian, experiencing the 2nd largest observation wheel in the world, the High Roller, at the Linq and riding a roller coaster above the NYC skyline at New York New York.
Area 15 is a great place to go for some indoor fun! They have a lot of fun experiences like Omega Mart and Axe Throwing!
The Neon Museum is a great way to experience some of Las Vegas history through the lights. The museum features signs from old casinos and other businesses. We have enjoyed visiting the museum a few times!
If you know anything about Las Vegas, you may be familiar with its relationship to organized crime. The Mob Museum is a great place to visit to learn more about Las Vegas and gain an understanding of the history of organized crime and the impact on American society.
Fremont Street Experience is a 5 block walking area in downtown Las Vegas. While in this area, you can fly above the experience on a zip line, see the largest video screen in the world, listen to many live music concerts, check out the casinos, and obviously, gamble. This is definitely a party area for locals and tourists alike!
Death Valley is about 2.5 hours northwest of Las Vegas and we make a point to visit as often as we can. From the Ubehebe Crater to the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes to the Badwater Basin, Death Valley is certainly a special place! If you have the time, we highly recommend this special place!
Zion National Park is a two and half hour drive from Las Vegas. Zion boasts a variety of magnificent hiking trails including two very famous trails: Angels Landing and the Narrows. We recommend visiting if you have the time or are extending your trip by a few days!
For those of you who are extending your trip, we highly recommend a trip to Bryce Canyon National Park! Bryce Canyon National Park is 4 hours North of Las Vegas and is our favorite national park that we have visited anywhere. We make a point to visit each year. We love hiking here and just being surrounded by the HooDoos! If you have the time, we highly recommend this trip!
The Grand Canyon is a 4.5 hour trip from Las Vegas. The Grand Canyon is probably the most famous National Park and for good reason. We have visited the Grand Canyon over 5 times since moving here. We love making the trip and seeing the vastness and beauty of this national park.
For those of you who are staying longer, this another adventure we highly recommend! Lower Antelope Canyon is about 4.5 hours from Las Vegas. It is about a 1 mile walk through a gorgeous slot canyon. If this is something you plan on doing, you need to book as soon as possible!
By far, this is our favorite restaurant! Din Tai Fung is always delicious and always a great option for Taiwanese food: soup dumplings, dumplings, incredible veggies and more!
Any restaurant at the Wynn is a good choice, but Las Vegas is known for their buffets and the Wynn Buffet is the best of the best. There is something delicious for everyone!
