When Pat first met Christina it quickly became evident to him that Mike had found the love of his life and someone who would elevate every step of their journey together. For his deep recognition of their love, and for much more, Mike and Christina are so grateful to be starting that journey with Pat's blessing.

Catherine is Christina’s loving younger sister that, at times, acts as the older, more mature one. Her twin flame is Monica from ‘Friends’ and she is lovin' married life in Seattle. Some say these two gals are opposites—she’s the athletic one with street smarts… (Speaking of, she can probably lift more than you.) She’s the first to keep Christina in line and their differences are what Christina has grown to love most in their sisterhood.

Though Mike and Jay have known each other since passing hellos at Unionville High, little did they know that they would share 5 years living together in Boston and become best friends. Mike and Jay are partners in crime and the two are often spoken of as a pair. Jay has seen and been a woven part of Mike and Christina's lives since the start of their story in 2016. He is someone who makes every day fun, humorous, and most of all, unpredictable, which is what Mike loves and admires most about him.

Despite blindly choosing to become college roommates before actually meeting, Haylie and Christina quickly became each other’s biggest cheerleaders, and four years of living together zipped by filled with days of harmonizing to Jayesslee covers. What keeps their friendship grounded is their mutual perception of time...always being late. She now lives in Seoul with her husband and baby boy, and though the distance makes it tough, every call feels like they just saw each other yesterday.

Dave and Mike go way back. As close friends in high school, the two then lived together as roommates in their first and last years at Penn State. If you overhear conversation between them you'll likely find yourself lost in their love language of Office quotes and inside jokes. The two have always found joy and comfort in each other's company, though Dave's recent prioritization of his honeymoon over Mike's bachelor party will be a point of contention for years to come.

Wendy and Christina bonded most over late nights studying at CMU’s Club Hunt and taking turns propping each other up, both physically and mentally. Blessed with a strong liver, this Taiwan-based girl lives true to the motto “work hard, play hard,” and her unforgiving bluntness is her superpower. From Hong Kong to South Africa and places in between, she’s undoubtedly the Mom of the CMU friend group and the one to make sure details of a plan don’t slip through the cracks.

Mike and Mike have been friends since High School, as teammates in the classroom and rivals on the URA basketball court (only slightly disadvantaged by Nowo's 6'4" height). They would go on to spend half of their college years living together, commiserating over Electrical Engineering with late-night pizza and Lethal Weapon replays. After many years side by side it became clear that Mike has always been the smarter one...

These two Christinas clicked immediately upon moving to Boston and sitting in the same GE cubicle farm in 2016. Moving constantly for GE’s rotational programs made for a dynamic lifestyle, but this friendship was one of the few things that stayed constant through their job changes, career moves, and budding relationships. She’s been part of Mike and Christina’s story from the beginning, and M & C feel incredibly lucky to have not only found best friends in Christie and Casey but family away from family as well.

When they first became close in 2019, you'd typically find Mike and Casey bobbing their heads to electronic music, exploring the neighborhoods of Boston and venting about their love lives to one another. Actually, not much has changed when you flash forward to today. Since the beginning, they've shared an appreciation for each other's taste and counsel, and Mike remains in awe of Casey's energy and spirit. A lot more can be said about their friendship but one thing is certain - you can count on Casey being the last person to leave the dance floor.

April is best known for her spontaneity and love for animals. She’s been Christina’s go-to for all things related to corporate drama, travel, and puppy parenthood. She and Christina are both the few weird Californians who have yet to decide to move back west. Always down for fun, she is living her best life in Miami and travels with her puppy Milo to more countries in a year than the average American probably does in their lifetime.
Riley Young

Riley was one of Mike's first friends in the early days after moving to Boston in 2016. The two have always bonded over their love of music, excitement, hosting and cooking (Riley cooks, the rest appreciate). When together, Mike and Riley often can't help but instigate each other into a good time. A fun fact about Riley, the frequency of his voice is so incredibly low that whales in nearby oceans are instigated as well.

Steph...is like a turtle. She identifies herself as a “psychopath” (ask her about our elevator incident) but behind her tough shell, she’s a total softie. Over the years, Christina has loved getting to peel back each layer of the onion that Steph is. One of her most iconic college moments was her Spongebob-themed semi-formal birthday party on the 2nd floor of a McDonald's. After being in Tokyo for the last 2 years to chase her career dreams, this turtle-onion is finally coming back home to New York this summer!
Max Lehman

Max is a Day 1 Boston friend to Mike and the two have officially lived there longer than all others in their local friend group. Each year since 2016 holds special memories of fun nights out, fun nights in, and friends coming and going. Mike and Max have been there and seen it all together. Unbeknownst to Max, Mike actively seeks opportunities to adopt his sense of fashion and culture without seeming too obvious about it.
Meredith Welsch

Meredith is Mike’s sister and Christina’s future sister-in-law. With or without the eight-year age gap, she is a big part of who Mike has grown to become and has shaped some of Christina’s favorite qualities in him. Christina has loved being part of her journey through college and having a companion that understands Mike’s antics. :) She will be graduating from nursing school this summer, so thankfully we can all party with ease knowing we’ve got help if we need it!

Vince and Mike are cousins on their mothers' side. Something to know about their relationship dynamic - most of their time together is spent narrating each other's lives through impressions of Joe Pesci, Christopher Walken or Al Pacino. With an ear like Beethoven, Vince manages to outdo himself every time as Mike laughs out loud. While they love spiraling down the rabbit hole together, as family, their love has and will always be unspoken.
