Sydney and Tessa met in high school at Regis Jesuit and became instant besties over the stealthy purchase of Maroon 5 tickets in the school library. Tickets were acquired without suspect by the librarian, Ms. Sass, the concert was attended and the rest is history.

Best Man

Growing up Nick and Wells hopped from state to state as young men, embarking adventures wherever life took them. As adults, Nick functions as the grounding rod for the family. Nick is, has always been and will forever be Wells’ best friend and best man, as only a brother could be.

Molly and Tessa met through riding and showing horses at the same barn in their youth and were constantly getting into some sort of mischief. Many a prank was played, even more laughs were had, and somehow, between the all the trouble-making, most of the work got done...just ask Chad Evans.

Zach August

Groomsman

Zach and Wells met while both were working at Cabela’s. The two clicked pretty quickly. Zach was brand new to town and looked to Wells for direction on where the good beer was, which barber to go to, etc. Zach and Wells are still chillin at every opportunity they get.

Rachel Shreeman

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Tessa also met through the horse world and have developed the kind of friendship only people who have spent thousands of hours in the truck, driving across the country from one show to another, could possibly have. Countless ridiculous YouTube videos have been cackled over, games of Would You Rather (horse show edition) played, favorite songs belted, inadvertent detours taken and memories of a lifetime made.

Corey Fotre

Groomsman

Wells met Corey when he transferred to Benet Academy as a senior. The two met at the “outcast” table, sharing a bond over lacrosse, but quickly carved their own path. The two have stayed close and continue to cause as much trouble as possible when they are together. Wells is fortunate to have Corey by his side to make sure everything does not go exactly as planned.

Courtney and Tessa met when they started working for Alliance Residential. Both were new to the property management industry and made quick friends over a mutual love of food. This included making sure there was a fully stocked snack drawer in each desk. Many nights were spent reliving crazy tales from the day over a hot bowl of pho.

JP and Wells spent summers away in Neverland, year after year, trying to stay young forever. As the two got older, the time grew shorter, but the adventure never faded. Wells grateful to have his oldest cousin by his side to keep him young at heart and he takes this next step into adulthood.

Katie and Tessa met, obviously, because she is the sister of the groom! Tessa has always wanted a sister and does not think she could be getting a better one! Katie has been the most welcoming, supportive, thoughtful and hilarious sister-to-be! Here is to many more Mac n’ Cheese late nights up north, Drunk History, Burke’s Gambit and all the charcuterie boards!

“Crawford” and Wells served together in the 1775th Military Police Company for 4 years. Crawford was Wells’ NCO and the Sr. Medic. Now both separated from the Army, the two continue to look out for each other now, as they did then.

Michael Brophy

Michael and Tessa met through a mutual friend and hit things off pretty quickly. Michael is a fellow pho enthusiast and former property manager. The two have spent many a meal or phone call exchanging the kinds of stories you would have to be in multifamily housing to believe. Conversations range the full gamut of life and any given phone call is likely no less than two hours.

Alex and Wells met over a Thanksgiving table several years back. Alex quickly accepted Wells into the family, trusting him to help with the cherished Monkey Bread dish. Wells is grateful to be gaining another brother and proud to have Alex by his side on the day on the day the Lifka and Pesch families are united.

Kira is the daughter of Tessa’s dear friend Alisa. Tessa has been lucky enough to watch Kira grow up over the past 5 years. Tessa and Kira love drawing, doing crafts together and leaving notes for each other. Kira loves art, animals and the outdoors!

Maddy is the adorable youngest cousin of Wells. Her absolute favorite things are her dolls, fireflies, books and her dogs, Moxie and Maple. Her cousin, Wells, shares her love of reading and Tessa is almost as crazy about dogs as she is!
