This hotel is where we will be hosting welcome drinks. It is a 10-15 minute walk (or 5 minute Uber) to our wedding venue, and a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute Uber) to the crawfish boil. Hip rooftop pool scene, and chic lobby bar. Adjoining Stumptown coffee (for the fellow caffeine addicts), and osteria Josephine Estelle (serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are additional perks. This hotel is a <10 minute walk (<5 minute Uber) to welcome drinks, a <10 minute walk (<5 min Uber) to our wedding venue, and a >15 minute walk (5 minute Uber) to the crawfish boil. Beautiful lobby and bar, decent fitness area, rooms are solid, albeit a bit dated. This price will be hard to beat! Rooms: $229-239/night + taxes and fees (Friday & Saturday rate)

No block here, but worth consideration! Close in proximity to the Ace with a similar hip vibe (rooftop pool/cool bar/food options at the adjoining Commons Club) but with lighter, brighter rooms.

Also not on a room block, but is an iconic, luxury hotel that offers a stay in the heart of the French Quarter (just steps from our wedding venue). Even if you elect not to stay here, a visit to the famous Carousel Bar & Lounge is certainly worth while!

Transportation
Take a taxi from the airport to your hotel. Taxis are always available, and pick up passengers in a dedicated taxi loading zone on the Arrivals Curb outside of Level 1 Baggage Claim Door 7 (go outside and walk left, impossible to miss). Rides cost $36.00 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) or French Quarter for up to two (2) passengers. For three (3) or more passengers, the fare will be $15.00 per passenger. Taxis are required to accept credit card payments. As far as getting around the city, use Uber/Lyft. Avoid rental cars.
