Those who know Rachel well know she may be guilty of having one (or several!) photos frames on her wall that have never had actually family/friend photos put in them. Instead, they are proudly displayed on her wall as if the models in the photo frames are extended family members. As a gift idea, Rachel suggested to Cam that it would be awesome if he and Danny could print out and put photos in our photo frame. Thinking on a bigger scale, Cam instead let Rachel know he had planned a photo shoot with both sides of the family so that we could fill the photo frames with family photos. Rachel may have gotten a little suspicious of ulterior motives at this point, but her life-long bestie made sure Cam knew it so he could make a few side-handed comments to throw her off the trail (it worked....thanks Jamie!!!). The family photo shoot was on a beautiful fall afternoon and went off without a hitch (and why wouldn't it - when completed by such amazing friends and photography professionals Karen Gordon and Nick Benhart). Just as the shoot was wrapping up, a rustle could be heard in the leaves behind us. As Rachel turned around to see a throng of our closest friends approaching, she turned back around to find Cam on one knee. He had successfully surprised her and reminded her of the many reasons she loved him - basically - he nailed it! Of course, she said "Yes!" and would have been crazy not to. Needless to say, the photo frames no longer sit empty or anonymously on the wall. :) Special thanks to all of you who were a part of that exciting moment - favorite group picture from that day is below!
