Emily's favorite restaurant. The owner of famous Franklins BBQ and owner of famous Uchi Sushi came together to make this Austin favorite.
This Italian favorite was our go-to date night spot. Get a creamy espresso martini while there.
Good tex-mex and good margaritas. Beautiful patio eating.
The original Chuy's for margs and queso
One of our favorites. Expect a wait.
Dinner, Drinks and a show. Requires a reservation and best with a group.
Formula 1 race track that will most likely have an event the weekend of the wedding.
Fun disco club
Our favorite south side outdoor bar. Parking is very limited here. You can park at the bar next door and walk over. They just make you pay for the parking by ordering a drink at their bar.
Really good pizza and craft beer. Home of Emily's favorite craft beer, the Electric Jellyfish.
Speak Easy with delicious cocktails and immaculate vibes.
We like this place for street tacos and queso birria. There is a Gabriela's downtown location, but we like this one best for the space on the patio.
This street has a handful of bars in the Domain shopping area. This is a good day drinking area with many different themes and vibes. You will find an array of Austinites here.
Miles of the best outdoor shopping. Visit the Starbucks Reserves, and Rock Rose Street when you go.
Another good bar hopping area, day or night. This street has houses turned into bars with southern charm.
Jeremy and Emily spent many days here with their dog, Bentley. This is Austin's city park with a grand view of the city and lots of off leash happy dogs. Barton Springs also connects to Zilker, and Lady Bird Lake with a active trail. The ACL music festival is also hosted here.
This area on South Congress has a lot of Austin original boutiques and restaurants. Most weekends there will also be pop-up shops along this street. Some of our favorites along this strip: Home Slice Pizza, Aba, Kendra Scott, Vespaio, Torchy's Tacos, Allen's Boots, Jo's Hot Coffee. This street also has a grand view of the capital.
This is a great hiking trail trough the Austin Greenbelt.
