If you're arriving from the United States or another part of Europe, you can reach Sicily by plane. Direct flights to either of the Sicilian airports (Palermo or Catania) are not that common and can be expensive. We suggest planning a 1 to 2 week vacation and flying into another Italian (Milan or Rome) or European city as your bookends. Flights to Sicily from any of the Italian airports are fairly affordable. Our wedding venue is about 20 minutes from Catania, so we recommend flying in and out of that airport.
There are no active hotel blocks but you can still book at the hotels listed in the travel tab. Information for how to book is noted there, but please reach out with any questions.

Yes! We will have an open bar at our wedding. We will have an assortment of liquor, wine, and beer as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
There will be a lot of food, so come hungry! Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour. We will have an assortment of typical Sicilian street food (think Arancinis) and 5 live cooking stations. A seated dinner will follow with meat, seafood and vegetarian options. This means that if you opt for the seafood option, your antipasto, primo (pasta) and secondo (non-pasta) will all contain seafood. And then for dessert, we'll have traditional wedding cake as well as 5 live cooking stations that will not disappoint. When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any food allergies.
