We wanted something more intimate for the ceremony. So we will be exchanging vows in the hours before the reception party and will have a grand entrance as husband and wife!
We love your kids, but please consider this an opportunity to take a date night and get a sitter. We will be serving alcohol and want to feel comfortable letting loose. This will be a strictly 21 and older party. No accommodations will be made for anyone under 21 years.
Here on the website is the best place to put your RSVP! We ask that you let us know by 07-05-2023 if you are planning on attending or not. We want to make sure that we make enough room and eatables for everyone!
The dress code is cocktail attire, and we would love to be able to boogie with you so keep it fun! Also note that the majority of the reception area is grass. Heels may not be the most comfortable choice, but you do you.
Quiet hours begin at 10 pm--marking the end of festivities.
The party is outdoors in Bozarth Mansion's formal garden, however, there are places to find shade and we have access to the mansion to cool off if it gets too hot.
The real answer: Whatever comes, we will make the best of it together! The more scientific answer: it is unlikely to rain and the temperatures will likely be between 60*F and 88*F. https://weatherspark.com/m/2022/8/Average-Weather-in-August-in-Spokane-Washington-United-States UPDATE 7/30/2023: We are well within the 10 day forecast! ACK! I have looked at a few different sites. It looks like it should be 88-92F and partly cloudy. And that sounds absolutely glorious to me! https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/wa/mead
The first 50 vehicles will have places to park on the mansion grounds and there is parking nearby on the street for any additional. For those who can't walk as far, there is a convenient place at the entrance of the party to be dropped off.
We are providing beer, wine and some non-alcoholic drinks. If you would like to tip the bartender bring cash!
We are providing beer and wine for the party. We want everyone to have a great time, but we also want everyone to get home safely. Please have a plan, before arriving, on how you will get home. Please do not drive drunk. We encourage designated drivers, ubers...whatever other idea you can think of--please come prepared with a plan! Moral of the story is: Please drink responsibly. :)
