Controversially (not really), the best wing spot in Buffalo. Located in a strip mall, make sure you don't judge this book by it's cover. While they have delicious hot/medium/mild, you owe it to yourself to "double dip" and try cajun/bbq & Tommy's favorite - Cajun/Honey Mustard.
Located in Tommy's hometown of East Aurora, this place is a consensus top 3 among most in the 716 (including Bills QB Josh Allen & Kelsey). Number 2 on Tommy's list & Number 1 on Kelsey's, Bar-bill is a bit of a drive & a bit of a wait, but more than worth it. We recommend ordering a mini-beef with 10 cajun/honey butter bbq wings & a side of waffle fries - and a beer if that's your speed.
Number 3 on Tommy's list, 911 Tavern encapsulates a classic Buffalo joint. Filled with people from all walks of life, it's a window into the heart & soul of the city. This place offers only hot/medium/mild - simple, as all things should be.
Number 4 on Tommy's list for best wings, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This is also our favorite casual place to go for dinner/drinks on the weekend. At least once a week you will find us here!
Number 5 on Tommy's favorite wings places! Located in Buffalo's historic old first ward, he recommends either sheffield wings (a delicious dry rub), or McCarthy wings (a wing drenched in BBQ sauce, topped with bleu cheese crumbles). Gene's also has their own brewery in the same location: OFW Brewing
