Please RSVP for all events by September 18, 2021 through the RSVP page linked above.
Once on our RSVP page, please enter your name as it appears on the Paperless Post invitation envelope. You may RSVP for one or more members of your party at once. For example, for an envelope addressed to "Ms. Vivian Cheng and Mr. Sean Gomez," you could enter the name "Vivian Cheng" or "Sean Gomez" to RSVP for one or both members of the party. If the RSVP system is not recognizing your name or you are having issues with the website, please contact the Bride or Groom via email.
There is no formal dress code for the Welcome Drinks & Dinner (10/15) or Farewell Brunch (10/17). Feel free to come as you are! We highly recommend bringing a jacket on Friday to Adobe Cantina. CEREMONY (10/15) - Please wear church attire for our ceremony at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Day dresses, sundresses, dressy separates, button-downs, and slacks (blazers optional) are all appropriate. Out of respect for the church, please, no jeans, shorts, or flip flops. RECEPTION (10/16) - Summer Formal: Suits and formal cocktail dresses of all lengths are welcome. Though it will certainly feel like summer when we get started, note that our venue at Saddlerock is 100% outdoors and it will get chilly at night (high 50's low 60's). We will have heat lamps but also recommend bringing a jacket and/or warm shawl. For footwear, please keep in mind that most of our venue is grass. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass and our reception on Astroturf.
There will be vegetarian and vegan options at Adobe Cantina on Friday and at the Four Seasons on Sunday. Our reception dinner at Saddlerock Ranch will be served family style, but you can request a plated vegan option. Please let us know about any specific allergies in advance.
We're very fortunate to have so many friends and family that we want to share this day with, but unfortunately the space for our reception on Saturday is limited. Please refer to the guests listed on your Paperless Post invitation envelope and RSVP page for details, and feel free to contact the Bride or Groom with specific questions. However, feel free to bring your kids to Friday's events.
Masks must be worn while inside the church on Friday. Masks are also required to be worn in all common spaces of our hotels. Since all of our guests will either be fully vaccinated or have received a negative COVID test within 72 hours and the rest of our venues are virtually all outdoors, masks will not be required the rest of the time. However, we request that guests bring masks to all our events and wear them when they are indoors and unable to practice social distancing (e.g., while in restrooms). We will have extra disposable masks available. We also request that unvaccinated guests attending Sunday's brunch at the Four Seasons wear their mask while indoors in the Wellness Kitchen (where brunch will be available). We will send an email if there are any updates to the county/state's COVID guidelines, and you can always check this FAQ page and our Health & Safety page for any updates.
There is a large parking lot at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church for our ceremony on Friday. Plenty of valet parking will be available at Saddlerock Ranch on Saturday. For brunch at the Four Seasons, you can either self-park at the parking structure ($12) or valet ($18).
Google Maps provides accurate driving directions to Saddlerock Ranch at the address 31727 Mulholland Hwy. There will be an attendant at the gate at 31727 Mulholland Hwy who can help direct you. Follow the signs for the Cheng-Gomez wedding on the paved (not dirt) road. Do not turn onto Devin Trail and stay right at the stack of wine barrels/fountain and then continue following the paved road until you hit a fork. Stay left at the fork and continue until you reach Semler Drive. Turn left onto Semler Drive and follow the road until you reach the circular driveway. A valet attendant will park your car. (If you reach Chateau Point or a black building you have gone too far.) P.S. You may want to screenshot this if you're driving since there is little to no cell reception once you get past the gate at Saddlerock!
One shuttle will arrive at the Four Seasons at 4:00pm and leave for Saddlerock Ranch at 4:15pm. Two shuttles will arrive at the Courtyard Marriott at 4:00pm and leave for Saddlerock Ranch at 4:15pm. For the ride back to the hotels, one shuttle will be available beginning at 9:00pm to take guests to both the Four Seasons and the Courtyard Marriott, and then return to Saddlerock Ranch for additional trips to both hotels as needed. Three final shuttles (one for the Four Seasons and two for the Marriott) will take guests back to their hotels at 11:00pm.
On Friday, please refrain from taking photos during mass. You may take photos without flash during the processional (entrance) and recessional (exit). Please also note that photos at the altar immediately following the ceremony will be reserved for family. On Saturday, we request that you turn off your cell phones for our very short and sweet ceremony. We will have plenty of time for photos with everyone the rest of the weekend!
We are honored that you will share in our special day - your presence is the best gift! We're lucky enough to have a new home with pretty much everything we need, but if you feel inclined to help us upgrade a few items or contribute to our honeymoon/new home fund, please feel free to browse our Registry page. We are registered with Zola and Bloomingdale’s.
