Hi there! I’m Eliana and I am so excited to meet you all at the wedding of the century, with the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. V! I met Alyssa at work about three years ago as we taught our preschoolers together and would unwind with a drink or two at Teacher Thursdays. I met Charlie about a year after that, when he joined us for a night out as we solved an escape room together. I figured if he was smart enough to solve the challenges, he’d be smart enough to realize Alyssa was and will forever be the perfect one for him. Fast forward a few years and here we are, preparing to celebrate their love! Can’t wait for the big day! Cheers!

At museums I’m allowed to touch the art The Aztec Calendar has my 5 de mayo party chiseled in it. So let me tell ya how I met the couple, I met Charlie (the ride or die) my freshman year in high school. And my first thought was damn this homie is tall. Like he’s, help me get something on the top shelf type of tall. So just like in prison I made an alliance with the tallest/biggest kid in the yard. After that, it's all history. I first met Alyssa at Charlie's place for the first time and let me tell ya I thought he kidnapped/blackmailed her. I thought my boy doesn't have this much game. But after confirming that she was there on her own free will and talking to her for a bit, I realized why he would geek out about her to me. And to be honest with ya’ on that day I was like he needs to buy a ring.

Born & raised in the LBC! I went to St. Anthony High School, then attained my BS in Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego. I currently still reside in San Diego, where I’m pursuing my UX/UI Design career in the biotech and life science space. In my free time, I love collective vinyl, talking film photos, being with my friends & family, and experiencing new things & places! I met Alyssa when she transferred to St. Anthony during our junior year of high school. We became good friends and have remained close ever since. We also bonded the fact that our parents were also friends from high school as well, which is something we didn’t initially know when we met! Fast forward to early college, we took a camping trip where Alyssa brought Charlie, which is where I met him for the very first time. If I was told at that camping trip, that Charlie was the one for Alyssa and that we would be exactly where we are today, I would 100% believe it! The two of them are the very best for one another & I couldn’t be happier and more excited!

Hi! I’m Annalee and I have been friends with Alyssa since high school and she introduced Charlie and I on 4th of July a few years ago. They have since introduced me to my boyfriend Tony (thanks guys). When Charlie and Tony were living together, the 4 of us would go out or go get ice cream. Alyssa and I both love ice cream, so together, we were always down. I went to CSULB and majored in Food Science and I love to cook and eat. I’m so excited to be apart of their special day!!

Hi, my name is Tony Sommers. I’ve been friends with Charlie since 2016! We met in the dining hall our freshman year. I heard him tell someone else that he was on the track team prompting me to go up to him. We’ve been friends ever since! A couple of years later I met Alyssa when she brought pizza to the Throws House. One year later I would end up meeting Alyssa’s friend and my now girlfriend, Annalee. We’ve gone on several adventures together, creating tons of memories of the best years of my life. Charlie and I even started a company together! Life is crazy, and I am so happy that these two are in my life

My hobbies include anything sports related, reality shows, singing & drinking. I met Alyssa junior year of high school in English class & we’ve been besties since. I met Charlie at the O.C. fair in 2018 when he was the true MVP meeting 3 of Alyssa’s friends at once. I have been honored to witness the beginning of their love story.

Josh is a physical education teacher who graduated from Long Beach State in 2019. As a student, he spent 5 years competing for the school’s track and field team where he had the pleasure of first meeting Charlie. Josh and Charlie spent 3 years as teammates, and 2 of those years as roommates. Josh met Alyssa while working for Long Beach’s 49er camp and has watched the relationship grow from day 1. Being teammates, roommates, and great friends with Charlie, I have always wanted nothing but the best for him. From our competitions in the weight room, practice field, and meets, I always tried my best to push him to be the best he could be. Yes, I wanted the best for him in the world of sports, but I wanted to see him to succeed in all aspects of life. Thinking back to when he first met Alyssa, I could quickly notice a change. Not a change in who he was as a person, it was greater than that. I could see that he was happier. It didn’t take long to tell that what they had was something special. These two clearly care so much for each other and that has never and will never change. It is an honor to be here with them today.

Hi! My name is Reina and I’m so excited to be a part of Charlie & Alyssa’s big day! A few things about myself, I’m a Long Beach native spent my whole life here, moved away to San Francisco for my undergrad and finished with a B.A in Child Adolescent Development. Currently I’m working as a Lash Technician (follow the IG: @lashqueenbyrei) as I’ve always been passionate about anything beauty & fashion related. I love traveling, spending time with friends and family, going to music events (RnB and hip-hop my go-to), taking film pics, and watching movies/shows. How I first met the couple. I met Alyssa in high school during religion class and I invited her to join me and my friend to sit closer with us because these boys talking to us were being annoying and trying to be funny and I noticed she’s a new face to the class and wanted to become friends w her lol. I met Charlie on my 21st birthday when Alyssa brought him to my Halloween party and the couple was paired as a Taco Bell combo with Alyssa as the sauce and Charlie with the Taco Bell shirt, also matching with another friend couple of ours!

My name is Cassandra and I graduated from CSULB spring 2022 with a Communications Degree and certified as a DRPA Mediator by the state of California. My favorite hobby is traveling and my favorite place that I have traveled to this far is Madrid, Spain! I currently work in accounting at a commercial construction company based in Long Beach. I first met Alyssa in kindergarten class. Her family later on moved, so it’s pretty crazy we were able to reconnect in high school when they moved back to California. I’m excited to celebrate Alyssa and Charlie’s next chapter together!

I’m a fly fishing guide at a fishing lodge in Montana. I love experiencing the outdoors with family and friends, and most of my best memories are from camping trips with others. I first met Charlie while at Long Beach State, when he joined the throws squad. We became friends immediately and he later moved into our infamous 818 Lees avenue House. It wasn’t until after a few years of knowing Charl, and many man-dates later, when I eventually met Alyssa. Just as I was getting to know her, I unfortunately broke my leg really bad and had to leave our home, and move back in with my parents. Alyssa capitalized on my absence, and was able to steal Charlie from me! (Haha jk…) After coming to terms with this, I realized that Alyssa is really awesome, and they were thriving together. I admire how supportive their relationship is and I’m so lucky I was there to see the very beginning, and I’m beyond stoked for them tying the knot!
