FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, then just reach out to Victoria or Dawson!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday, September 1st. You can start RSVPing now! Just click on the "RSVP" tab above. If you don't RSVP by our deadline, we will sadly have to assume that you cannot attend as we have to finalize our numbers for our vendors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The event is Semi-Formal: men wear dress pants, button-up and tie (jacket optional) and women wear floor-length, midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. The grass can be soft and there are loose stone pavements, so maybe rethink the stilettos. We also kindly ask that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, creams and other similar colors. NOTE: it can get cold up there, so bring a jacket if needed. The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside, and the reception will be inside a tent.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding budget will not be able to accommodate them. The only kiddos that will be at the wedding are our ringbearers/nephews :) We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation and RSVP.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for our celebration! While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:30 PM for our welcome drinks. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Be prepared for Bay Area traffic - the venue is tucked in the hills of Sunol where traffic on 280 and 84 can definitely build up on the weekdays!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Courtyard Pleasanton: We have a 10-room block for Wednesday, October 16th - Saturday, October 19th. The cutoff date for these reservations is Wednesday, September 18th, 2024. Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES! In your RSVP form there's a section to fill out for any food/dietary restrictions.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes there is! We will have a shuttle meeting at the Courtyard Pleasanton to take guests to the venue. Loading of the bus will begin at 3:45 PM and the bus will depart at 4:00 PM. NOTE: Please let us know in your RSVP if you plan on using the shuttle so we can make sure that we have enough room for everyone.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There is parking onsite at the venue. There's also a shuttle at the venue's parking lot to help bring you down to the ceremony space if you wish to not walk down the stairs.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us, hangover is on you (; So, drink responsibly. We will have beer, wine, and 2 specialty cocktails to choose from.
