We are excited to welcome people as they arrive and will be chillin' by the bar + pool as everyone gets settled in. We plan to head out for the last Thursday night Art Walk of the season - out in Plaza Mijares and the neighborhood at large - at about 5:00 PM. Drift throws a party with special food and drink and music on Thursday nights after the art walk, so once we've had enough souvenirs, art, tamales and esquites we'll be headed back there to start the weekend off with a bang. Please join!

Start the morning off with some yoga + mimosas at Drift if that's your thing. We hope you'll take the day to enjoy the area and explore. Take a spin through some galleries, eat a good meal, buy a sick shirt with a really complicated pattern. Whatever you are feeling. The Drift hotel will be open to all on Friday and there will likely be some hanging out there, but nothing official, so plan to come and go as you please.

Ceremony + Social hour

12:00 am - 2:00 am

Beachy Cocktail Attire: staying cool and comfortable with be the name of the game. Think light colors, flowy fits and airy fabrics.

Puerto Raíz is a natural sanctuary with edible forests, orchards, different gardens and spaces all supporting a farm-to-table restaurant and event center. The grounds are a mix of concrete flooring, gravel and grass, so keep in mind when deciding which kicks you're going to wear. Guests may arrive independently or use shuttles which will depart from Drift. We will share more info on speicific timing as we get closer. The ceremony will be informal (mostly standing room or casual seating), after which we'd love for you to stay around to enjoy a cocktail and snack service while enjoying the scenery. Shuttles will take guests back to Hotel Drift, where all are welcome to linger, loiter and generally make festive-like until the reception dinner and party begin!
