Sweetish Candy - A Swedish Candy Store
This "Sweet" shop and booming business that Tyler has created and successfully fostered for the past 5 years is not only our current pride and joy, but is in fact the very reason we are together today. It is well known that Vanessa has a sweet tooth, so the prospect of a new candy store not even a block from her good friend's house absolutely required a visit! Little did she know that the boy she met doing stage crew her freshman year at Shippensburg University was going to be behind the counter, ready and eager to show her the world.
Space
This vintage furniture and clothing store is undoubtedly the source of all things cool and unique within our home. Not only do we shop here regularly due to our love of all things vintage, but owners Jesse and Todd are always so wonderful to us. So much so that they even went through the trouble of helping Tyler stage a surprise proposal and hosting an engagement party for us all right within the shop! We are so lucky to have them in our lives and community, please stop by to check out the store if you have time.
Decades
Being less than a block from our home, Decades has fostered numerous memorable moments for us - casual drinks with friends, gameplay, and a successfully executed surprise 30th birthday party for Tyler - to name a few. This barcade is a great option for food, fare, and making memories during your time in Lancaster.
Lancaster Central Market
For those of you staying in the city Friday night or arriving early on Saturday, Central Market is open from 6am-3pm Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. For the history buffs, this market is the "oldest publicly owned continuously running farmer's market in America"! For the food lovers and sentimentalists, this is also where we have spent countless Saturday mornings together (and apart haha) for all of our favorite treats, flowers, and fresh produce.
Drøm
Decor, Outdoor, Pour, and More! This home goods and outdoor gear store is another of Tyler's blossoming creations. Inspired by European and Scandinavian design, we opened in September of 2023 right next to Sweetish in downtown Lancaster.
