Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Gates to the park will be open at 3pm at the latest. Please aim to arrive at the gates around this time so you can find the hotel, park, and be seated before ceremony starts at 3:30pm.

Question

How do I get to the Wainwright Hotel?

Answer

To get to the Wainwright Hotel, drive west on Heritage Drive past the large "H". Follow the road across the trolley tracks, around to the right, and continue until you are at the big black security gate beside the clock tower. Stop at the gate and check in with security - tell them you are here for the van der Poll and Zucht wedding at the Wainwright Hotel. They will either talk to you are just wave you in. Take the road straight up the hill and drive past the red brick building on your right. Take the road across the train tracks and to the right so there is a wooden boardwalk on your left. Follow this road into the town. The Hotel is the large building on the left. You may park perpendicular to the boardwalk surrounding the hotel. This can also be accessed the same way with a taxi/Uber. A map and directions to get to the hotel can be found via this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HCalg0shjXjhrAEXOm4QB2dQeDPLDTXG/view?usp=sharing

Question

Do I need to pay for parking?

Answer

No! The park is closed over winter, so parking will be available free of charge.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

YOU CANNOT LEAVE YOUR CAR PARKED WITHIN THE PARK OVERNIGHT. However, you can leave it in the main visitor parking lot overnight. Please note, overnight parking does have a fee of $3.

Question

I can't attend in-person. Will I be able to attend virtually?

Answer

Yes! We will be live-streaming our wedding for those who cannot attend in-person. Details will be shared here as they become available. If you want to ensure you have access to the livestream, you can email vanderzuchtwedding@gmail.com so we can send you the information individually.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Dress code is formal: cocktail or floor-length dress, dress pants or jumpsuit, collared shirt, and/or suit with formal footwear (no sneakers or jeans please). As this is a winter wedding, smart sweaters are also welcome. Please note: bridesmaids will be wearing dark green.

Question

Will there be a coat check?

Answer

Yes! As this is a winter wedding, we can appreciate people may be coming with winter jackets and boots. There will be a free un-attended coat check for coats and changes of shoes.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we can appreciate the desire to include others, we are keeping our celebration intimate to couples we both know well. Only those named on the invitations are to attend the wedding.

Question

Can I request a specific meal due to dietary requirements/ allergies?

Answer

We want everyone to leave from our wedding well fed! Our dinner will have vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free options. If you have requirements/allergies outside of those named, please do not hesitate to email us at vanderzuchtwedding@gmail.com to let us know.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have invested in a photographer and videographer for our wedding. We request for you to be fully present for the ceremony with your phone away on silent, and we look forward to sharing our professional photos with you.

Question

How can I pay for drinks at the cash bar?

Answer

Cash, debit, and credit will all be accepted.
