This brand new park in the heart of downtown Cary is a beautiful place to spend some time. It truly offers something for everyone, highlights include: The Bark Bar, two iconic cardinal play structures, lots of modern art, and botanical gardens. This is also a special place for the bride and groom, as this is where they got engaged ❤

Places to Drink Downtown

There are quite a few good places to grab a drink in downtown Cary. Here are some of our top picks, all in one place. Are you staying at the Mayton Inn? Then the Cotton House is the perfect place as it is right next door. Want more of a classic brewery vibe? Check out Bond Brothers or the Pharmacy. Not really a beer drinker? Goodberry's Frozen Custard

Grace grew up going to Goodberry's, especially on Tuesday nights in the summer after swim meets. With so many different delicious flavor combinations, it can be hard to decide. Make sure to check out the flavor of the day, the featured sundae, and ask about the Carolina Concrete, their specialty. If you are still having trouble deciding, the bride swears by the Raspberry Concrete, while the groom is more of a classic hot fudge sundae kind of guy.
