FAQs

The Wedding Website of Grace Fendrick and Tyler Pewitt
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail/formal attire. For men, we suggest either a suit and tie. For the ladies we suggest wearing dresses ankle length dresses, jumpsuits, or other formal attire.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is set to begin at 2 PM, so we ask that guests please arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you are late, no worries. Just please wait for a good time to enter the church sanctuary.

Question

Where do I find rehearsal dinner information?

Answer

We have decided to keep the rehearsal dinner an intimate affair, with just immediate family and the bridal party in attendance. We really appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on the wedding day! If you are a member of the bridal party or immediate family, all the information you need is on the additional card from your invitation suite.

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Given the time of year, it may be a bit chilly. Our venue has a combination of beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, so we suggest bringing something to keep you warm, whether that be a coat, shawl, or scarf (even leggings for under a dress could be a good idea).

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at both the ceremony and reception venues. The church has a very large parking lot, so there should be no issues. The reception venue has a smaller parking lot, but there is also free street parking throughout downtown Cary. If you do not have a car with you, ride share services can be utilized. We will have a mid-size shuttle from the church to the reception venue for guests without a car or group to drive them. Thanks so much!

Question

Can I leave my car parked overnight?

Answer

Had a little too much fun? You are welcome to leave your car at The Matthew's House overnight. The venue just asks that you please pick up your vehicle by 10 AM the following morning.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love for you and your young children to feel welcome to celebrate with us. However, if you and your spouse would rather treat this as a night out, we would love that too. We want you to do what is best for you and your family.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space and budget limitations we are unable to accommodate plus ones for all of our guests. Therefore, unless specifically named on the invitation, we do not have the space for additional guests. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you on our special day.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know on your RSVP form and we will try our best to work with our caterers to accommodate you.
