Dating in the midst of a global pandemic is not the most ideal time for dating, but for us that was just when we found one another. We met like many modern day couples do nowadays, online- thank you Hinge. Tyler would like to make it known that I pursued him and liked him first. After a handful of messages exchanged and us connecting over our love of Chick-fil-A Arnold Palmers, Tyler asked me to go on a date at a local wine bar. We talked for several hours during that first date and our waiter had to come back at least 5 times before we had actually taken a pause to look at the menu and order. Within that first week of meeting, Tyler managed to get us on three dates. After that, we were pretty inseparable and I should have known then that this was going to be something different. We have traveled together, cried laughing (mostly me at him), shared a love of Disney and Harry Potter, indulged in Taco Bell, tried new things, and made plans of a future together. After a year and a half of dating and with luck being on our side in the crazy market, we were able to get our first home. In the living room of our home Tyler took me by complete surprise and asked me to marry him and spend our forever together. With a repeated response of "are you kidding" from me I eventually found the right words out and said yes. We are so excited to have all of our favorite people gathered together in one place as we start our biggest chapter of our lives together as husband and wife. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating with you! #ExcitedForEhlers
