Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We kindly request that you RSVP no later than April 30th (4/30). You can RSVP to this event (and all of the weekend events) by clicking on the tab titled "RSVP" and typing the name of your party.

When and where will the ceremony and reception take place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place at Chestnut Ridge (address and details are provided in the "Schedule" tab) . The ceremony will be held in the Ceremony Pavilion across from the reception hall and begin promptly at 4pm. Please plan to arrive and be seated between 3:30pm and 3:45pm. The cocktail hour will begin after the ceremony and will take place at the outdoor porch, and the reception will take place in the reception hall.

Is there parking available at Chestnut Ridge?

Yes! There is a 70-space parking lot and an additional overflow lot located on the Chestnut Ridge site.

Is there additional transportation available?
Answer
Yes! There will be two 44-passenger buses providing transportation to and from the event and stopping at a few hotels in Downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village. One bus will be providing transportation to and from the Hilton Garden Inn in the downtown area and will be departing for Chestnut Ridge promptly at 3pm. Please start loading onto the bus between 2:30 and 2:55pm. The other bus will be providing transportation to and from Home2Suites and Baymont in Biltmore Village, leaving Baymont promptly at 2:30pm and then leaving Home2Suites promptly at 3pm. Please start loading onto the bus 15-20 minutes prior to departure time. Both busses will depart from Chestnut Ridge to their respective hotels at 10pm.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be indoors and temperature-controlled. The cocktail hour will take place in the outdoor porch areas (with a large covered porch section in case of rain).

What is the dress code?
Answer
Attire is Formal/Semi-Formal. Service members are invited to wear their dress uniform for the ceremony and are encouraged to bring a change of clothes if desired for the cocktail hour and reception. Tyler and Luke are planning to change out of their dress uniforms and into suits after the ceremony.

What is the weather like in this area?
Answer
Asheville, NC in June has an average high temperature of 81 and an average low of 61 degrees. The sun usually sets around 8:45pm, so plan for most of the event to be sunny and warm!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions?
Answer
Yes! Please indicate your dietary restrictions with your meal selection on the invitation RSVP.

Is there a kid's meal option?
Answer
Yes! The kid's meal option is spaghetti and meatballs. Please select the kid's meal option on the invitation RSVP to ensure your child receives this meal. Please indicate any dietary restrictions (i.e. no meatballs, etc.) as well.
