We're Eloping!

Chris & Tyler met online (Bumble) and chatted for a couple weeks before they met in person in December 2020. Their first date was at Chris' apartment where they watched a Sporting KC game while eating take out from The Granfalloon Restaurant and Bar. For Tyler, it was love at first sight. He knew that Chris was someone special and that their connection would be strong. Chris advocated for taking things slow, but soon they were hanging out every weekend and enjoyed each other's companionship. This kindle was only the beginning of their love for each other.

In October of 2022, Tyler & Chris took a road trip to South Dakota with their friend Emily. They stopped at many sites in the state including Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave National Park, the city of Deadwood, the city of Sturgis, and Custer State Park. While in Custer State Park they took a hike through the cathedral spires. While taking pictures Chris got down on one knee and asked Tyler to marry him. Both crying, Tyler said yes and the rest is history. This was a special moment together with their friend and some other hikers. They celebrated with champagne Emily had been hiking with and all were glowing for the rest of the day.
