Maid of Honor
Jimena is my built in best friend. She is my partner in crime and the BIGGEST fashionista I have ever met. Her love for the people around her is unconditional. It is such a blessing to know her and a privilege to be loved by her and be her sister. Even though she is my baby sister, Jimena always keeps me grounded and gives the best advice. I can always count on her for anything. From praying for me to making me laugh so hard and helping me dress myself; she's my go to. My favorite memory with Jimena is going to high school together. It was such a fun time together; there wasn't a day where we weren't laughing (there still isn't). She was the obvious choice for maid of honor :')
Best Man
Vaquece, or as most of the people of Douglas, GA call him, "Fred" is my childhood best friend. Fred and I met in middle school through sports and we naturally became best buds. We rode together to and from practices and games all throughout high school. We even worked at a restaurant for a few months where we obliterated the owner's margins by eating our weight in fried chicken. Fred and I remain best friends to this day. Adult life doesn't allow us to see each other as much but when we do, we spend the entire time laughing and cutting up. He was the obvious choice for Best Man because no matter how long we go without seeing or talking to each other, we pick up right where we left off.
Bridesmaid
Fer is my oldest sister. She is THE swiftie of the family. She knows everything there is to know about pop culture. She is headstrong and so smart. However, she is always down for a good time. I can always confide in her about everything (even things she might not want to know). She supports any impulsive decision I make, but she also is not afraid of being honest and bring you back to reality. One of my favorite memories with Fer is going to the 5 Seconds of Summer concert. She was the one who introduced me to the band and we had been waiting to see them live for NINE YEARS. I am happy to have her stand by my side :)
Groomsman
Dalton is my college best friend, but I would say that the beginning of our friendship was rocky due to us both being the "funny' guy in our education program classes at VSU. He got me a job at Academy in December of 2019. We then spent our mornings unloading trucks, stocking shelves together, and going on breakfast runs. We became "acquaintances" pretty quickly. In actuality, we had a lot of fun together those years and still make a point to hang out frequently although he lives in a another state. Dalton was the friend I needed during that time in my life and I am forever thankful to have him as my best friend.
Bridesmaid
DeeDee is not only my cousin, but she is one of my best friends. She's a couple months younger than I am and we have always been attached to the hip. When we were in school, I would always tell people that I was her cousin when I introduced myself. She is funny, clever, and sings beautifully. She is my all- time singing partner. My favorite memory with DeeDee is when we used to ride to church on Wednesdays and spend the night at her parents'. Being girls and growing up together has been such a blessing. I am so honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids.
Groomsman
Trevor is my first cousin and better yet one of my closest friends. Trevor was the closest in age to me growing up. I looked up to him until about the age of twelve. I became taller than him, but he still found ways to terrorize me, beat me up, and teach me "bad words". In all seriousness, Trevor is the type of guy you can always count on about anything. Trevor is the big brother that I never had.
Bridesmaid
I met Sam our Junior year in high school. We are TOTAL opposites. I was super shy and she was (still is) super outgoing. We started talking to each other because she had made a 78 on a test and I made an 87 (we thought it was funny lol). We never stopped talking and hanging out after that. She pulled me out of my shell. Sam is confident, gorgeous, and talented. She always sees the bright side in every situation. One of my favorite memories with Sam is doing Winterguard together. She helped me with tosses and everything in between. She is so talented when it comes to guard. I am so happy to have this ray of sunshine stand by me.
Groomsman
Doc is one of my closest friends that I met through hanging out with Trevor. They are childhood friends and we have all remained friends and hung out over the years. We have all gone on hiking trips, done competitions, and visit the local brewery when we're all in town. Doc is always the funnest guy to be around. I am thankful to have him as a friend and groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and I had the same homeroom in high school. She moved from Pittsburgh to Georgia. DeeDee had told me that we had the same homeroom, but I was too shy to introduce myself. We ended up sitting together and then became close. We took Spanish class together. Melissa is the most understanding, kind, and mysterious person I know. She is the black cat to my golden retriever. My favorite memory with Melissa is when she flew all the way down to Georgia from Pittsburgh to celebrate our engagement. Having her as one of my bridesmaids is a blessing.
Groomsman
Pete is one of my long-time lifting buddies. We met through a powerlifting meet in Tifton that Doc, Trevor, and I competed at as well. We have become good friends over the years. We train together when we get a chance. I can always talk to Pete about anything and everything that we have going on. Pete and I share many of the same interests and have gotten along really well from the beginning. I am grateful to be able to have him as a groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
MaKenzie is my future sister- in- law. I met her at her 19th birthday dinner. She is sassy, girly, and spunky. I remember the first time we hung out by ourselves. We went to a tattoo shop and pierced our ears. It was the most eventful hangout I have ever gone to. She is headstrong and will always stand up for the ones she loves. My favorite memory with Kenzie is when we went to the Eras Tour in Atlanta... or just being in Atlanta with Kenzie (the people of Kennesaw LOVEDD Kenzie). Her and Dillon's relationship is the funniest and sweetest. It was a no brainer for me to make her one of my bridesmaids.
Groomsman
I met Christian through Debbie when we first started dating. He and Debbie have been best friends since they were in high school. They grew up and sang together at church. I have gotten to know him really well over the past two years. In my personal opinion, he is the glue that keeps their friend group together. He is a great guy and has also become one of my good friends. It was a no brainer that he had to be one of my groomsmen.
