Dillon and I met on Bumble. We were both drawn to each other's profiles. We texted and Facetimed for a couple of days. Dillon asked me on a date to Chilis the day before Thanksgiving. We laughed the entire time. After the date, we hung out every and any day we could. A few weeks later, Dillon took me out on a date in Downtown Valdosta, and after a delicious meal we walked around and he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was such a sweet moment I will cherish forever.

Dillon had been hinting that he had gotten me the perfect Christmas gift. I thought he had gotten me an English Bulldog. The week of, he told me to ask my boss to let me off that Saturday because he had a surprise and I needed to dress up. Just as I expected, my boss didn't let me because it was going to be super busy since it was the day before Christmas Eve. Dillon told me to give him my boss' phone number...my boss gave me the day off after that:). He took me to Downtown Valdosta. It was FREEZING and I was so HUNGRY. Dillon said he wanted to walk around for a little bit. I was confused as to why we were not seated at a restaurant and eating. All of a sudden, we stopped at the exact spot he had asked me out to be his girlfriend. He told me to look at him and started saying the sweetest things. I knew instantly what was going on, and we both started crying, and he popped the question!! The ring took my breath away!! Our photographer, Victor, was hiding the entire time and captured the moment perfectly. We drove back to my parents' house, and all our friends and family were waiting to celebrate. It was a perfect day! PS. I still want my baby bulldog :)
