Ty & Kurby

I told Kurby that I had made plans for a sunset photoshoot. The shoot was to be at the iconic Theoskepasti Chapel which is perched on the sheer-drop cliffside of Santorini. Kurby carefully climbed onto the chapel's roof for the shoot in a flowing red silk dress. As she worked through the different poses her red dress filled with the wind and danced behind her over the water. During a specific pose, she turned away from the camera and looked out at the setting sun over the sea. With her back to me, I secretly climbed onto the roof behind her and knelt on one knee. As she turned back towards me it felt like time slowed to a stop. The whole world faded away as she stared at me. Her eyes filled with confusion and then widened with surprise and glee. Her gaze dropped to the dazzling engagement ring in my hands. A wave of emotion washed over both of us and we burst out in laughter and then tears of joy as I confessed my love for her and my proposal for marriage. She nodded & said yes!
