The wedding ceremony begins promptly at 5pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Since we will all be at the resort, it will be a short walk to the beach. Plan to be at the beach by 4:45 to get a seat. If raining, we will have the move the wedding indoors.
I would book no later than August 1, 2021. There are 500 rooms at the resort, but to guarantee the room you would like, I would suggest booking sooner than later.
Beach chic! This is a casual beach wedding, so plan to be comfortable. You may choose to be barefoot during the ceremony, but shoes will be necessary for the reception. No flip flops please.
Yes. All food, drinks, and non motorized sports are included. So put your wallet away and enjoy your stay. There are several restaurants and bars scattered around the hotel. Room service, mini-bar, taxes, and tip are included in the room price. If you would like to tip extra, that is always appreciated.
These are changing. Right now, I believe you have to have a negative Covid test within 3 days of arrival to DR. I am reading we will also have to have a negative Covid test within 3 days before traveling back to the USA. When it gets closer, the may require everyone to have had the vaccine to travel there. I will update this website as more information becomes available. Please make sure to get trip insurance as we never know what can happen because of Covid.
