Tripp and I were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. She had told me what a wonderful man Tripp was, and we talked briefly and set up the date. I was living in Charleston at the time, and he was living in Greenville (about 3 hours away). He drove down and picked me up and we went to get sushi for dinner. We went to grab a drink after dinner, and ended up talking for hours. The next day he asked if he could take me out again, and I was so surprised he was willing to make the six hour round trip back. We went to trivia and then a silent disco and had so much fun! I was going out of town for a few weeks and wasn't sure how everything was going to go after only two dates. He told me he didn't want to go so long without seeing me and drove back for the third night in a row! I was so impressed by this southern gentleman. We talked again for hours that night and he told me he couldn't wait for me to get back and he would be waiting for me at the airport when I returned. True to his word, he picked me up from the airport, and we spent time learning about each other and falling in love. The rest is history!
Tripp had taken me to a wonderful dinner the night before my birthday. When we got home, we were talking, and joking around ,and right at midnight, he got down onto one knee, and asked me to marry to him with his grandmother's ring. It was the best birthday present I had ever received! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Charleston!
