FORMAL ATTIRE: The dress code is fancy but flexible. This is not a black tie event. For men: Suit and tie are appropriate. Dress shoes fit the bill when it comes to footwear. Consider patent leather loafers or laced oxfords. For women: Formal dresses include both gowns and elegant cocktail looks - pick the one you feel best in. Other dressy separates are also appropriate. Accessorize with heels or fancy flats and jewelry.
WESTERN WEAR! Dust off your hats and boots and let's party like the cowboys (and girls) do! Think mountain-style sweaters, bolo ties, fringe jackets and jeans. Check out the inspiration board above for attire ideas. Western attire is optional - feel free to come as you are. This is a casual event.
As much as we'd love to have all of your kids at our wedding, our venues have extremely limited space. We encourage you to bring your babes to Vail with someone to watch them during wedding-specific events.
Unfortunately, Vail wasn't able to accommodate any hotel blocks during the weekend of our wedding. Please visit the "Travel" page on our website or reach out to Kate if you have any questions about booking travel and hotels: 612-750-1983
There are multiple options for single, multiple, and half day passes. To purchase a pass: https://www.vail.com/plan-your-trip/lift-access/tickets.aspx For rentals: https://www.vail.com/plan-your-trip/rentals/winter-equipment.aspx
While altitude sickness is rare, it is helpful to understand the signs and symptoms. The most important thing to remember is to DRINK A LOT OF WATER. There are also oxygen bars throughout Vail (we recommend the one at The Sonnenalp!) Read more about altitude sickness here: https://thinkvail.com/preventing-altitude-sickness-in-colorado/
