Dress code is semi-formal. Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, so consider bringing a light sweater if you are prone to a chill from the wind. You will need to walk in the grass, we recommend a thicker heel so you don't sink as you walk.

It's a 25 minute drive from Mount Airy, NC to our venue. The venue is called The Shiloh (located in Lowgap, NC).
Yes! There are designated times for pre-scheduled toasts during the wedding and welcome dinner. Please email the.oconnell.wedding2023@gmail.com if you would like the wedding coordinator to assign you a time for a toast where it fits in the wedding timeline. There will not be an open mic so please request a time via email if you would like to be on the schedule.
Our bridesmaids will be wearing blush pink, sisters in dusty rose, and groomsmen in deep blue. Our ushers will be in a mix of colors within this color palette. You are welcome to wear these colors or any other colors! Please reserve traditional colors such as cream. ivory, and white for the Bride.
