Question

Are you moving forward with the wedding as planned?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to greatly reduce our guest numbers in order to care for our at-risk loved ones. This decision grieves us, as we know many of our good friends and family had already made travel plans and will no longer be able to celebrate with us. However, we want to be as responsible as possible in such a confusing and unpredictable time. We apologize for any inconvenience we have caused, and we are grateful for your understanding, support, and prayers during this season.

What does reducing guest numbers mean for me?

Answer

This is the tricky part. We want to be clear in saying that in our dream wedding, we wanted every single one of our friends and family to be in attendance. Sadly, that is no longer an option. Guests in attendance will be limited to more immediate family, wedding party, and close family friends. Our other guests will be asked to celebrate from a distance via invitation through mail. We know this decision will bring sadness to our loved ones, but we ask that instead of looking forward to being a part of our wedding, you look forward to being a part of our marriage!

Where is the reception?

Answer

We are fortunate enough to be able to have our ceremony and reception in the same place, so there will not be a need to travel anywhere else other than Le Chateau Venue. Check out our Schedule page for more information.

What food will be served at the reception?

Answer

We will be serving a pasta dish with salad and vegetable sides. We will also serve cake, coffee, beer, and wine throughout the night.

What transportation is available?

Answer

Shuttles are available from the airport to the hotels we have recommended. However, we personally recommend renting a car if you are flying in from out of town. Our wedding venue is located in Littlefield, Texas, which is about 30 minutes outside of Lubbock, and there will not be transportation provided to and from the venue. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Should we book in a hotel block?

Answer

We chose not to block out hotel rooms as we know that there are many variables for our guests to consider when traveling for our wedding. However, we have provided some of our Lubbock hotel recommendations on our Travel page that we feel are excellent in terms of price and quality.
