We are planning on going forward with our in-person ceremony and reception on June 5th with additional health and safety precautions in place. Guests who do not feel comfortable traveling or attending are welcome to join us virtually. Guests over age 16 who join us in person are required to be fully vaccinated at the time of the event. At a minimum, guests can expect that we will comply with state and local guidelines for events. Please reach out to John and Allison if you have additional questions or concerns surrounding COVID-19.
In short, not necessarily. All guests over the age of 16 will be fully vaccinated. (YAY!) However, children under the age of 16 are not required to be vaccinated. At our final count, there will be 7 kids in attendance. It is our understanding that the greatest risk here is that kids will transmit the virus to each other. As such, we ask that children are tested for COVID-19 prior to attending. Kids will be seated with their family members only. Importantly, it is also possible that some of our vendors will not be vaccinated. However, the state of Kentucky opened vaccine availability to anyone over 16 on April 12th. We hope that all of our vendors who want to be vaccinated are able to by our June date.
We will be setting up a live Zoom feed of our wedding for any guests who are unvaccinated or are otherwise unable to attend in person. We invite you to join us virtually if you are not vaccinated, and look forward to seeing you in person at a later date!
