We met analog in the day of digital—at bar trivia. Travis was the host, Reagan was on the winning team. After a disputed question about a quote improperly attributed to Albus Dumbledore, a horrifically fumbled phone call, and a nightmare voicemail, Travis finally asked Reagan on a date. One year later, we went on a second date. Seven years later, we're getting married.

We want a family name, but aren't attached to our monosyllabic titles. Plus, if you hyphenate our current last names, we'd be the Lawn-Smiths, which sounds more like a pair of medieval groundskeepers than a modern couple. So instead, we'll be taking "Parker," a name that has run through Travis's family for generations.
